Our Vision: An inclusive Arkansas where every individual, regardless of disability, achieves their full potential.
The Roadmap to a Fully Inclusive Society
For eight decades, Easterseals Arkansas has been the guiding light for inclusion in our state. Our humble roots were sown with a singular purpose: to ensure children and adults with disabilities experience society as equal participants.
Today, as we navigate the challenges and celebrate the milestones, our ambition remains undeterred — to pave the path for 100% equity, inclusion, and access through life-changng disability and community services.

Provider of Choice
Our impact each year shows how we work toward becoming the provider of choice in our field. From our preschools and our adult day center to the job placement and independent living programs, we deliver exceptional programs and services. We seek to set the standard for best practices in the state.
A teacher at our Stuttgart preschool has an inspiring mantra she teaches her preschoolers that could be shared across the organization. In instilling confidence and independence, she has them recite to themselves, “You are safe, you are loved, you are kind, and you are smart at Easterseals.” And that is something for them to carry with them throughout their life as they gain more independence.
The influence of our services extends beyond the diverse individuals and families that we serve. Amy Lively, mother of Justin, said, “My son (who is 24) recently moved out into an apartment. I am just now seeing what disability pride means. He is just so happy and proud of what he’s done.”

Financial Sustainability
Witnessing the impact we make and the positive outcomes that are told through success stories – or mission moments – attract others who need services and support. These mission moments, in turn, attract those who want to donate their time, talent, and treasure to support more of these types of positive outcomes.
We invest in people’s dreams and help remove barriers that are intentionally or unintentionally put in front of the people we serve. We are able to that because of the generous investments from those who volunteer and donate their time. These practices help us remain sustainable for years to come.
